A new training course organized by RABO: Fire Safety for Facilities Managers

A new edition of the educational program for facility management, organized by RABO Academy in collaboration the British Institute of Facilities Management(BIFM), the most prestigious organization in the field at the European level, took place on the 13th and the 14th of May, 2015. The Fire Safety for Facilities Managers course was organized in West Gate Business Park.

Over 24 persons attended the course, from such companies as: HP, Siemens, Accenture, Infineon, Societe Generale, Unicredit, Ringier, WNS, Genesis Development and WFMC.

The Fire Safety course for Facilities Managers was held by Stewart Kidd, one of UK’s leading loss prevention specialists. Over the past 15 years he has been involved in a wide range of international projects including Burj Al Khalifa and The Shard (London Bridge Tower). He presently advises the lead insurers on fire safety for the Heathrow East project and the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

This course aims to provide Facilities Managers and others with fire safety management responsibilities the knowledge and skills required to manage fire safety in the public sector and industrial and commercial premises a structured and cost-effective way.

RABO Academy is an initiative of the RABO Foundation, intended to provide a series of management-level educational programs for professionals activating in the real estate industry. The Academy aims at enhancing the level of professional quality standards provided within the industry.
