1-day course
Date: 10th of October 2019
Venue: Westgate Business District, 24 Preciziei Blvd., Building B1, Ground floor – The Library
About the course: How much do you want to save? For most organisations property is the second largest cost after staff and yet many aren’t achieving the levels of efficiency they could if good practice techniques were effectively applied. As a result, valuable resources can be wasted and service levels often don’t meet customers’ expectations.
With high levels of fixed costs including rents and lease charges, the focus for efficiency has to be on optimising the facilities management service. Led by Andrew Porter, a highly experienced consultant and FM practitioner, this course aims to show attendees how to deliver good practice, and use a range of tools and techniques to make a positive impact on service quality and organisational performance.
The course will cover:
- FM Service design and strategy – so you can deliver the service your organisation needs based on the kind of space you occupy
- Managing FM data – understanding what you need and how to apply operational data to decision-making and communicating with stakeholders
- Sourcing and procuring FM services – so that you can find the right service providers at the right price while planning for further value in the future
- People and skills – how to find the right people with the right skills to deliver FM services in the right way
- Building-in sustainability – to show how you can minimise your organisation’s environmental impact and support wider Corporate Social Responsibility goals
- Managing risk – in a way that both supports and protects your organisation
- Growing customer satisfaction – engaging with users to measure satisfaction and identify future opportunities for improvement and change
- Building innovation into the FM service – as a driver for achieving future savings and quality improvements.
